The manufacturer gave two Iberian hybrid electric vehicles to the City Council of Madrid.
Both cars in question are Leon Ecomotive Twin Drive, featuring an electric motor and a conventional combustion engine. Seat announces a range of up to 50 km in zero emission mode and a top speed of 190 km / h. The mass marketing of this hybrid model is expected by 2014.
In terms of technology or hybrid electric, we can not say that makes sparks Seat ... We still remember the concept car coupe 100% electric IBE, presented in March 2010 at the Geneva Motor Show.
The manufacturer claims that eventually sold over two Seat in Spain, is the badge "Ecomotive" and therefore emits less than 130 g / km of CO2.
