Those who live a natural lifestyle as much as possible will avoid frozen foods because they are less good. Frozen foods are considered as one element of preservation so that this method is the same as any other type of preservation. In fact, frozen food manufacturing technology actually only slow the rate of material damage with storage temperature settings. The lower the storage temperature of food, the longer the network lifetime.
According to nutritionist Samantha Heller, frozen foods can as nutritious as fresh foods.

“Vegetables or foods that are directly frozen after harvested could even have higher content of nutrients because there are vegetables or fruit that passes through a long journey before it is marketed,” said the author of ‘Get Smart: Samantha Heller’s Nutrition Prescription for Boosting Brain Power and Optimizing Total Body Health’, according to Health. It is true that frozen food will experience decrease of nutrition. Nevertheless this can be prevented by maintaining the storage temperature as low as possible.

That’s why when buying frozen foods at the supermarket, don’t let the frozen foods melt before reaching home. Select frozen foods which are still in good condition. If possible, choose frozen food products derived from local products so that the freshness of the product are more secure than imported food that has been through a long process chain.
