Kia Koreans would attack the strongest segment of the automotive market and lifestyle have announced they will introduce both a roadster and a four-wheel drive version of Soul. While the announcement about the Soul was good news waiting to be officially confirmed, but the ad really important is the future of MX-5 rival. Paul Philpott, head of Kia's operations in Europe confirmed the two models in an interview with Auto Express.
Kia Roadster would begin until 2013 or 2014, this year and next year is intended to strengthen the brand in all markets they serve. The new model would help the people at Kia easier to position the target site for them - a young brand for young adults. Thus, Kia is trying to give a dynamic image, fun and youthful. According to Paul Philpott, Kia is equivalent brand Seat, Hyundai and while it's much more like Volkswagen.

Kia Rio fourth generation of this car is longer by 55 mm below to 15 mm and wider by 25 mm, wheelbase hatchback added 70 mm - up to 2570 mm. Trunk volume in the South Korean model, with raised seats increased to 292 hp.
In Europe, the new Kia Rio goes on sale with four power plants. The base engine is a 1.25-liter turbocharged unit capacity of 86 hp and torque of 118 Nm. In combined cycle, the "steward" the way the average fuel consumption model with the data unit is equal to 4.8 liters. In the range of engines came another gasoline engine of 1.4 liters, which develops 109 hp and 136 Nm of torque. For the record, the Kia Spectra is made in South Korea by the Hyundai Kia Automotive Group and is imported to the US while the Chevrolet Malibu is built in America. The Spectra is a compact car, the Malibu is classified as a midsize; both have enough seat belts to carry five passengers.
Base engine for the Spectra is a 2.0L I4 paired with a five-speed manual transmission while a four-speed automatic transmission is offered optionally. The standard engine for the Malibu is a 2.4L I4 that is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Though the Spectra gets 24 mpg city and the Malibu 22 mpg city, the Malibu has a highway edge of 33-32. Interestingly, the standard manual transmission engine combination results in 30 mpg on the highway for the Spectra.
Extra Gears, Better Fuel Economy
What makes the difference between the two models? The two extra gears in the Malibu is what does it. Earlier models had a four speed manual which delivered 30 mpg, but with the six-speed now included, Chevrolet drivers can get ten percent better fuel economy than before.
Having extra gears means the transmission can operate at lower ratios which means that less fuel is used. For people who do a lot of highway driving, the Malibu wins out in fuel economy, besides being a larger, roomier car for long trips. This doesn't mean that the Spectra isn't a capable car, but it does contradict a certain maxim - smaller cars are always more fuel efficient. Instead, the maxim should be that cars with the newest technologies, particular those with modern transmissions of at least six gears could be the most fuel efficient vehicles available.
Technology You'll Pay For
Most certainly the Spectra and the Malibu are designed for different drivers so my comparison does not include price or prestige, but it does indicate that car shoppers should look very closely at what they are getting: the bigger car could offer the best combination of ride and fuel economy for you and your family - you just have to ask yourself if you are willing to pay for these enhancements.

The Picanto model in Europe was altered slightly in late 2007. Among the minor changes were the light clusters (front and rear), and for the UK market, the indicator stalk was switched to the other side. For the Italian market debut the new bi-fuel LPG version with 1.0 and 1.1 engine.
For the 2010 model year, the Picanto receives some minor changes to its interior and exterior and will be on sale for the Korean market
The Kia Picanto, known as the Kia Morning in South Korea and Chile, Kia EuroStar in Taiwan, Kia New Morning in Vietnam and the Naza Suria or Naza Picanto in Malaysia, is a low cost city car produced by Kia Motors.
The Picanto is based on a shortened platform of the Hyundai Getz. It is available with either 1.0 or 1.1 L petrol engines. A 3-cylinder diesel engine (based on the Kia Cerato's 1.5 CRD four-cylinder unit), with direct injection and a variable geometry turbocharger, has been available in the European market since Spring '04, with power reaching 75 PS (55 kW). Details are scarce right now, but the automaker claims the car has grown in length and has a longer wheelbase, which should improve interior space. Unlike the outgoing model which is available exclusively as a five-door hatchback, the new Picanto will be offered in both 5-door and 3-door body styles (at least in Europe).

Let's be honest, KIA probably aren't high on your list of well known manufacturers. In fact you may even forget about them altogether. But once you have, so to speak, got the Cee'd stuck between your teeth (tenuous I know), you won't be able to ignore the rise of the Kia's popularity.
Just look at the Rio or the Magentis. Sleek, stunning beasts that convey a rather unique flavour of driving delight that promises to make every journey enjoyable. Although some of the names might be a little... unusual (the Cee'd is just taking liberties with apostrophes in this writer's opin'ion), they certainly reflect the fresh and funky feel of the manufacturer that's causing quite a stir in the car sales circuit.
The Kia Cee'd is a simply delightful car that more than makes up for its rather bemusing moniker. Allegedly named for the Community of Europe and European Design (which still doesn't explain the apostrophe, it's as unwelcome as it would be if it were to appear on a sign for "potatoe's"), you won't have the heart to give the little Cee'd anything less than an A+, because despite a sobriquet that will make wordsmiths suppress a shudder, there's absolutely nothing to find fault with when it comes to the car itself.

New Factory:But Kia is working diligently to remake its image as well as to win the hearts of the American car shopper. In late 2009, Kia opened its first U.S. manufacturing plant in West Point, Georgia, a one billion dollar investment in the local community. That plant builds the Sorento, a medium-sized crossover model.
The 2010 Kia Optima 2.6 Liter V6 engine may not compete with some of the other V6 motors found in other sedans, but it is definitely lower priced as well.

As far as automotive brands go, South Korea's Kia has not yet acquired the sterling reputation common in other Asian brands, namely Honda and Toyota. Though part of the Hyundai Kia Automotive Group which is the fourth largest car manufacturer in the world, Kia has long played second fiddle to Hyundai, a brand who has managed to successfully transform its own image remarkably over the past decade.
