Rolls-Royce 102EX - electric Phantom.
Rolls-Royce presented in Geneva its first electric car - a prototype based on the Phantom, designated as 102EX.
For now remains only a prototype model that will be provided for a test of selected customers, VIP personalities and journalists. If reactions are positive, we soon see the first product of the electric model Rolls-Royce.
102EX uses a lithium-ion battery (71 kWh), which powered two electric motors with total power of 389 hp and 800 Nm. They ensure the luxury vehicle acceleration from standstill to 100 mph in "under 8 seconds and maximum speed of 160 mph.
With a fully charged battery electric Rolls-Royce can travel 200 kilometers. Charging the battery takes 20 hours in regular contact or 8 hours with three-phase charger.
Visual Rolls-Royce 102EX is not much different from the familiar Phantom. Outside the car can be known as body color, the blue logo and the opening for charging batteries. Inside emphasizes the eco theme - the elements of natural wood to replace the aluminum ones, and the seats and floor are coated with a special skin.
