At the moment, Mercedes is thinking about releasing 4 separate versions of the SLS AMG. The first is going to be a coupe-style vehicle with the above mentioned door features. A gold-colored version of this automobile made its international debut at the Dubai International Auto Show.

In the next two years, Mercedes will launch their next version of the SLS AMG - a soft-top roadster with standard doors. There's also set to be an electric powered version of the automobile, although critics are actually already lining up, as it can't possibly do as well.

The last edition of the Mercedes plans to release is the Black Series. This will be the most audacious of all four versions, as the Black Series will be extremely trimmed down and is also expected to have a lowered total weight of 660 pounds. As far as performance goes, the Mercedes SLS AMG is really a powerful automobile for its dimensions.

Detail Pictures and Feature Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 (2011)
The SLS AMG GT3 features a new new front apron with a splitter, the bonnet with central cooling air vent, wider front and rear wings, sideskirts with cooling ducts for the rear brakes, a rear diffuser and the adjustable rear aerofoil. www.topspeed.com

Details are few on the SLS AMG GT3 racer. It will have an unspecified power boost over the 571 PS (420 kW / 563 bhp) of the standard model - somewhere north of the 600 PS (441 kW / 592 bhp) mark. There isn't much more than that to say, except to have a look at the photos and see what else you can spot. www.worldcarfans.com

From the front, the GT3 race car boasts a new front skirt with enlarged air intakes. The wide opening beneath the characteristic radiator grille bearing the large Mercedes star and the wing-shaped horizontal fins supplies air to the engine oil cooler and brake discs. The same function is served by the two intakes below the vertical bi-xenon headlamps. Downforce on the front axle is provided courtesy of four externally mounted side flics, as well as a carbon front splitter; it runs directly into the smooth underbody panel, which connects to the rear diffuser. www.netcarshow.com
