Trim level and Body styles:2010 Colorado is a mid sized compact pickup truck available with two wheel drive of four wheel drive. This truck is available in three body styles regular cab crew, extended cab and crew cab. Crew cab is available with 5 foot cargo box and other Colorado models features 6 foot bed.
2010 Chevrolet Colorado is available with two primary trim levels which include base work truck and mid to high level LT. Mid to high level LT model consists of 1LT, 2LT and 3LT cub trims. The regular cab consists of work truck and LT1 trim. The extended crew cab is available with 1LT, 2LT and 3LT sub trims. Chevrolet Colorado Crew cab is available with only one trim level i.e. LT trim.
Engine and Performance:
2010 Chevrolet Colorado is offered with either inline-4 or inline-5 or an V8 typed Engine.
Colorado is offered with 2.9 L four cylinder engine and optional 3.7 L capacity engine. Extended crew cab and Crew cab is offered with 5.3 L V8 engine which is capable of generating 300 HP of power and 320 lb-ft of torque. All the models of Chevrolet Colorado is offered with five speed manual transmission and four speed automatic transmission as an option transmission for four cylindered engines. V8 and five cylindered engines will be mated with automatic transmission. Four wheel drive models will be incorporated with Instant track transfer Case with push button controls and an optional rear locking differential.
The engine features a sequential fuel induction system that feeds the required unleaded gasoline through a dual overhead cam valve train.
